Let's Talk About Commercial Recycling

In spite of snowy weather, several hearty Arkansas business people attended a meeting to discuss commercial recycling options in Central Arkansas. The meeting was co-hosted by the SBNCA, Keep Little Rock Beautiful, and the Little Rock Sustainability Commission's Green City Operations Committee. The purpose of the meeting was to bring together government, business, nonprofit, and recycling companies to
exchange information about the challenges and successes of commercial recycling; to educate about the state (including costs) of recycling; to facilitate recycling by other businesses in the community; to disseminate information on how to start a recycling program; to g
enerate a list of suggestions for the LRSC Green City Operations Committee to forward to the City of Little Rock and other appropriate parties.
